SIJHL playoffs being tonight

The SIJHL playoffs begin tonight.

The only team not in action is the Dryden GM Ice Dogs, as they have a bye for finishing first in the regular season.

The best-of-seven first round series feature defending league champion, the Sioux Lookout Bombers at home to the Red Lake Miners, the Thunder Bay North Stars host the Fort Frances Lakers, and the Kam River Fighting Wall take on the Ironwood Lumberjacks.

Games two will be played tomorrow night, and game three and four shift to Red Lake, Fort Frances and Ironwood, Michigan, respectively.
