Dryden city council approves Moffat Family funds

Five groups in Dryden will be sharing just over $102,000 in Moffat Family funding this year.

The biggest grant goes to the Dryden Food Bank for just over $30,000 to help out with its food purchase program.

The Northwestern Health Unit is getting $20,000 for its Nutrition of Weekends program and also for the Community Pathways Partnership program to the tune of $10,4000.

Making Connections for Children and Youth will receive $18,000 for its Universal recreation program.

The Dryden Public Library has been granted $10,869 for its children’s programming.

Dryden Community Services is getting $13,000 to help with its program expansion.

Dryden city council announced the grants at their open meeting on Monday.
