The Regina Pats are a perfect 2-0 at the Western U18 AAA championships in Kenora.
The Pats shutout the host Kenora Thistles 5-0 Friday night.
Earlier in the day, the Winnipeg Wild got by the Thunder Bay Kings 6-4.
Both teams have 1-1 record in the round robin.
On Saturday, the Kings play the Pats and the Wild meet the Thistles in the final round robin games.
The Pats have already booked a berth into Sunday’s gold medal game and will play either the Kings or the Wild.
The winner of Sunday’s game will advance to the Telus National championships in Kelowna later this month.
