Outflow from Norman Dam to be increased

Lake of the Woods Control Board has authorized a couple of increases in outflow from the Norman Dam.

The first will take place on Saturday, April 12th and the second will happen on Monday, April 14th.

While the lake level didn’t increase this past week, it’s expected to go up 4 to 11 centimeters over the next seven days due to spring runoff and precipitation.

As a result of these outflows, water levels below the dam are expected to go up 10 centimeters and 4 centimeters at the Dalles.
