An outbreak has been declared at one of Kenora long term care homes.
Wiigwas Elder and Senior Care (formerly Birchwood Terrace) says there is a respiratory outbreak on the second floor.
Visitation is not restricted, but administration is asking you to not visit if you are feeling ill or unwell.
Hand hygiene is also encouraged upon entering the building and before and after exiting a resident’s room.
Masking is encouraged to protect the residents and yourself.
