St. Thomas Aquinas badminton players won a pair of bronze medals at the NWOSSA championships in Thunder Bay on Wednesday.
The senior mixed doubles team of Maddyn Hughes and Parker Frances finished in third place, as did the junior boys doubles team of Tyson Ponton and Ryder Kosis.
Hughes and Parker lost their third set by two points, 19-21, and will be eligible to attend the provincial championships.
The OFSAA championships will be taking place in Halton next Thursday to Saturday, May 1st to 3rd.
