Two more increases in outflow at Norman Dam

Water levels on Lake of the Woods are starting to creep up.

Rain this week helped up the lake up 8.5 centimeters and is expected to rise another six to 12 centimeters over the next seven days.

As a result, the Lake of the Woods Control Board is releasing more water through the Norman Dam.

The first outflow increase was yesterday and the second one will be tomorrow.

Water levels below the dam on the Winnipeg River are expected to increase 11 centimeters, and 5 centimeters at the Dalles.
