Kenora OPP lay weapons charges against B.C. man

The Kenora OPP have made an arrest following several weapons complaints Wednesday evening.

Police say their received three calls from the parking lot of a business on Miikana Way around 7 pm.

Officers arrested a suspect and took him into custody.

A 38-year-old man from Nanaimo, BC faces a number of charges including two counts of assault with a weapon, mischief and two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

He was held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody pending a future appearance in Kenora Court.
