A wildfire is responsible for damaging a couple of outbuilding a properties in Sioux Lookout.
The Sioux Lookout Fire Services and the OPP were called out around 3:00 Sunday afternoon.
Initially they were called out to deal with a blaze to a woodshed on King Street, between Second and Third Avenue.
The fire spread and caused some damage to some neighbouring residences and additional outbuildings.
The houses were safely evacuated and police confirm that no-one was injured.
The OPP say officers remain at the scene as fire investigators complete their investigation.
The Sioux Lookout OPP say they had help from a volunteer from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Northwest EMS and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office.
Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Sioux Lookout OPP.
The OPP would also like to remind residents that spring weather conditions mean increased fire risk.
