Wildfire crews in northwestern Ontario have been busy, extinguishing five fires in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry reported one new fire that remains active in the region.
The latest fire near Otukamoan Lake, about 54 kilometres northeast of Fort Frances, is being held at 6.7 hectares.
Crews continue to monitor the area, working to keep it contained.
Another fire was discovered north of Wabaseemoong on Tuesday, which was put out at a size of 1 hectare.
