Wall resigning as CEO of KDSB

The Kenora District Services Board is searching for a new Chief Executive Officer.

Henry Wall is leaving at the end of this month.

Wall says it’s with mixed feelings he’s departing.

“Just so grateful for the opportunity over the past 10 and a half years to be part of quite an incredible team and be able to lead some incredible human beings that are so committed and compassionate about making our communities better, and I’m going to miss that,” said Wall last week at the ribbon cutting of Kenora’s newest senior’s complex.

Wall says he’ll be staying in Dryden working for the new office of Steenhof Mining Services.

“Excited to join a new journey. I love this region and part of the decision to do something different is joining a team of engineers, so we can continue to build housing on the private sector side. That we can support communities with other community infrastructure needs.”

Steenhof Mining Services announced late last year that it was opening an office in Dryden.

Wall says he’ll be starting his new job as of June 1st.
