Sioux Lookout Airport making security changes

The airport in Sioux Lookout is making a change to improve security.

Starting on June 12th, a portion of the existing departure area will become a secure holding room to accommodate passenger screening.

This means that passengers will be screened prior to entering the hold room,

The airport says they will improve boarding times and as well as airline on-time performance.

It adds that passengers are asked to be patient as the new check-in process is fine-tuned.
