Winter Warmth Drive to support Kenora Makwa Patrol

The City of Kenora and Kenora Makwa Patrol are hosting a Winter Warmth Drive this October.

Donate clean, gently used, warm clothing from 9:00am to 4:00pm seven days a week, at the Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre located at 931 Lakeview Drive.

Please consider donating the following:

• Sweaters

• Sweatshirts

• Winter jackets

• Jogging pants

• Hats, mitts, scarves,

• Blankets

Bundle up your clean items in a plastic bag. Donations are being accepted until Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Please hand donations to City Staff directly. Do not leave donations at the door or outside of the Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre.

The City of Kenora is a partner on the Community Council for the Makwa Patrol and the Winter Warmth Drive gives patrollers the opportunity to provide warm clothing for the people they serve.
