The City of Dryden says a libel suit involving the mayor and one of its councillors has been discontinued.
Ritch Noel filed the suit against Mayor Jack Harrison after he posted a media release on June 19th, 2024.
In the release, Mayor Jack Harrison said Noel had to step down from the Working Circle committee because of comments he made on social media.
The city says all parties now consider the matter closed.
Noel is still at odds with city council, about whether he can attend council meetings in person, or has to attend virtually.
