Sioux Lookout highlights two housing projects

The Municipality of Sioux Lookout has announced a couple of housing projects.

They were unveiled during a housing forum last week.

The first is a major development by the Sioux Lookout Airport.

The project includes a multi-unit housing complex, a 200-room hotel, a conference centre capable of hosting up to 300 guests, and a lakeview restaurant.

The development is 100 percent Indigenous owned by a partnership of ten First Nations.

The second was an update from Rideout Bay Developments, who announced a 10,000 square foot mixed-use building at the Hillcrest Hub.

The project will include commercial lease space on the main floor and residential apartments above.
