New Gold cites better numbers in Q2

New Gold says it’s second quarter was much better in terms of gold production than the first quarter.

Just over 61,000 ounces were mined at its Rainy River site.

In addition, it says production during the month of June was the best ever month.

Just over 37,000 ounces of gold was mined.

Company president and CEO Patrick Godin is bullish about their production targets.

“Across the company, the second quarter successfully built on the momentum from the first quarter, positioning us to delivery on our annual guidance,” Godin stated in New Gold’s second quarter release.

“The quarter was highlighted by a record production month at Rainy River, resulting in a record quarterly free cash flow for both Rainy River and the company.”

New Gold predicts the second half of 2025 will see increased production and is on track to deliver its 2025 consolidated production guidance of 325,000 to 365,000 ounces of gold
