There are plenty of events running in Kenora this summer, and here are some coming up this weekend.
Shake The Lake is coming up on Aug. 2, with live performances from Canadian music legend Shawn Desman, Fefe Dobson, Tim & The Glory Boys, Catie St. Germain, Checkered Past, Five More Miles and Clark Copland!
It runs from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion.
There’s also the PONG Tournament on Aug. 1 from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and the Kenora Car Show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 3.
On the August long weekend, from Aug. 2 to Aug. 3, is the 2025 Dinner Jacket Classic Series at Lake of the Woods Speedway. There’s hot laps at 5 p.m. and racing at 5:30 p.m. If you want to get there earlier, the gates open at 4:15 p.m. If you want to check out the details, click here.
