NAPS seizes more drugs from First Nation airport

The Nishnawbe Aski Police continue to crack down of drugs being brought into northern First Nations via the airport.

The most recent occurrence took place on the North Spirit Lake First Nation.

Police say they seized about $15,000 of crack cocaine earlier this month.

Officers received a call for service on the afternoon of Sunday, August 3rd.

A female suspect was arrested after their found the crack on her and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.

A 39 year old woman from North Spirit Lake has been charged with trafficking and has been released from custody pending a future court date.
