The northwestern Ontario high school football teams see their first action this afternoon in the Winnipeg High School Football League.
The Beaver Brae Broncos host the Dryden Eagles and the Fort Frances Muskies kick off the season at home against the Miles McDonnell Maroons.
The three northwestern Ontario teams are lumped into Division 3 with five other teams from Winnipeg.
The high school football season runs right until the end of October.
