The Fort Frances Muskies have improved to 3-0 in the Winnipeg High School Football League.
The Muskies had little trouble with the Beaver Brae Broncos from Kenora romping to a 61-21 victory Friday afternoon.
With the loss the Broncos fall to 0-3.
The Muskies hit the road for the next four games and take on the St. Norbert Celtics next Friday.
The Broncos are back home next Friday and take on another 0-3 team, the St. John’s Tigers.
The Superior International Junior Hockey League began play Friday night.
The Fort Frances Lakers dumped the Red Lake Miners 7-1, while the Ironwood Lumberjacks got by the Thunder Bay North Stars 4-1.
Those same two teams will see action again Saturday night, while the Lakers are at home to the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
The other game will see the Sioux Lookout Bombers facing off the defending league champs, the Kam River Fighting Walleye.
