Education opportunities for candidates considering municipal office

Municipal elections in Ontario are just over a year away.

The Association of Municipalities of Ontario wants to give prospective candidates a helping hand.

It has created a series of workshops for first-time candidates and those seeking re-election.

The sessions are free.

Four workshops for elected officials will begin on November 26th.

Those for first-time candidates begin on December 3rd.

AMO says participants can register for the full series or attend as many sessions as they prefer.

Registration is made through AMO’s website or by clicking here.
