Health Unit tests patients at Red Lake Dental Clinic

630 patients of the Red Lake Dental Clinic have been tested, after it became known there was a lapse in infection prevention and control.

Of those tested, no-one tested positive for HIV, and there were only a handful of cases of that were inconclusive for Hepatitis B and C.

There were between 6 and 10 results for Hepatitis B and they are being refered for more medical follow-up.

Patients seen at the clinic between September 1, 2022, and May 16, 2025, were tested for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV.
