Lake Afternoon Drive: Trunk or Treat!

If you’ve ever wished Halloween could be a little more community cozy and a little less door-to-door hustle, then Trunk or Treat is your jam.

Picture this: a parking lot full of decorated car trunks, each one a mini Halloween world handing out treats to costumed kiddos. It’s like trick-or-treating, but with less walking and more fun per square metre.

This year,  Kenora’s got two Trunk or Treat events and they don’t even overlap!

Grand Council Treaty 3 Trunk or Treat kicks off during the day. Perfect for families and anyone who wants to flaunt their costume in the sunlight. Check them out from 2-4pm at 315 Main Street South.

Take a breather, empty that candy pail, and then head over to the Rideout Community Club at 5 p.m. for round two of Trunk or Treat fun!

I’ll be there broadcasting from 5-6pm on 89.5 The Lake, joined by the always-awesome Talia Saley from the Lake Morning Show. We’ll be soaking up the spooky vibes, chatting with families, and maybe sneaking a mini chocolate bar or two (for journalistic purposes, of course).

Whether you’re bringing your little goblins, showing off your own costume, or just want to say hi, we’d love to see you there. It’s a great way to connect with neighbours, support local fun, and celebrate Halloween Kenora-style.

So grab your costume, bring your candy bucket, and come hang out with us at Rideout!
