5 arrested on drug charges in Dryden

The Dryden OPP have arrested five people in connection to a pair of drug busts on Mary Avenue.

Search warrants were carried out this past Thursday.

Police seized suspected cocaine, fentanyl, Canadian currency and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Four women between the ages of 29 and 39 and a 51-year-old man from Dryden all face two charges of trafficking and one count of possession of proceeds of crime over 5 thousand dollars.

The man has also been charged with obstructing a police officer.

There are alll being held in custody.

Four will appear in Dryden Court on Wednesday, while another woman appears in court today on the charges.
