Dennis Wayne Maki, age 78 passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital with family by his side.

Dennis was born in Emo Ontario January 5, 1947. He later moved to Kenora and worked in the construction and wood industry driving truck and operating equipment. Dennis had a passion for truck driving. He worked for various contractors, but most known for Ed’s Landscaping of Kenora where he worked for 35 years. Dennis enjoyed snowmobiling, quadding and ice fishing on his time off.

He is survived by his two sons John and Chris and daughter Tammy.
