Brrr…It’s really getting cold this week, and it’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas. It’s reaching a high of -16 C today, but it really just feels like -31 C this morning. I could tell as soon as I stepped out my door.
Since I installed my block heater, I’ve been doing some research on when I should start plugging it in. Online sources usually recommend a temperature below -15 C overnight, and this week is definitely reaching those lows at night. At what temperature do you start plugging in your block heater? Do you wait until it reaches – 20 C or even -30 C?
