SLFNHA receives award from Accreditation Canada

The Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority says it’s one step closer to full accreditation.

The health care agency, which provides services to First Nations across northwestern Ontario, has been presented the Primer Award from Accreditation Canada.

The award shows that the Health Authority meets national standards for safety, quality and governance.

It also allows the agency to secure new investments, and expand services across the region.

The Health Authority says this is a milestone on the journey towards full accreditation.
