City of Dryden to conduct emergency repairs on Duke Street

The City of Dryden says Duke Street from Casimir Avenue to Kirkpatrick Avenue will be undergoing emergency repairs to the water distribution system

The work will be taking place on Saturday December 27th from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

During this time, the road will remain open to both lanes of traffic, however, the city says extra caution should be used within the construction zone.

The city says to ensure the construction zone remains safe, anticipate temporary delays and construction workers.

Also, within this time period, residents on Duke Street between Casimir Avenue to Kirkpatrick Avenue may not have drinking water available.

Although work is expected to be completed in a timely manner, the city recommends storing a short-term water supply in advance to ensure availability during the shut-off.
