City of Dryden purchasing new fitness equipment

The City of Dryden is going ahead and purchasing $200,000 of fitness equipment.

The exercise equipment will be used to replace aging and deteriorating pieces in the Fitness Center.

The money comes entirely from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

The City says the replacement equipment reflects the change in the demographics of their user groups, and focuses on advancements in erognomics and accessibility.

In all, 30 pieces of new fitness equipment is being purchased.

The new equipment is expected to be installed during the annual shutdown of the Fitness Center in June.
