You ever go ice fishing?
I know it’s huge up here. I’m from Southern Ontario, a great place for a lot of things, but not exactly known for ice fishing… and, I’m not sure I’d trust the ice down there, anyway.
But up here? Bring it on.
To sit out there and hear nothing but wind whistling against the hut and the occasional crack as the ice shifts deep below you…
That sounds amazing. Catching a fish would just be a bonus.
I’ve noticed two types of people in Kenora: zero interest… or it’s basically a lifestyle.
So, are you an ice-fishing person? And if so, what’s the one rookie mistake to avoid so I don’t look like a total NOOB?
Let me, Caleb, know by tuning into the Afternoon Drive on 89.5 the Lake, from 2-6pm, weekdays!
