Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for much of Northwestern Ontario, including Kenora, Dryden, and Fort Frances.
Drivers heading out this morning should be prepared for significantly reduced visibility.
Environment Canada meterolgists say a thick blanket of fog will linger through the morning hours, and in some areas, visibility could drop to near zero.
There is also a chance of freezing rain in certain regions, which could make road conditions even more hazardous.
Motorists are being urged to turn on their headlights, slow down, and use extra caution while traveling. Conditions are expected to improve by late morning or early afternoon as the fog gradually lifts.
