Do you know the name Clifford Glen Forsyth?

He was a World War II soldier with the Lake Superior Regiment, killed in action on April 11, 1945. Clifford rests at the Canadian War Cemetery in the Netherlands, but his story touches home. He had family connections to Kenora, and one brother served as a correctional officer at the Kenora District Jail until 1978.

There’s one piece missing: a photo.

A volunteer researcher is building a record of Canadians buried overseas and can’t find an image of Clifford. If his name rings a bell—maybe in a family album, a yearbook, a Legion wall, or a church directory—please check. Even a class photo or wedding snapshot helps.

Let’s honour this young Kenora‑connected soldier by helping put a face to his name so his sacrifice is remembered, not just recorded.
