After the Alzheimer Society of Kenora/Rainy River Districts’ first “Coffee Break” fundraiser on Jan. 16, the organization is preparing for another one tomorrow on Jan. 30.
One dollar from every coffee sold at the Kenora A&W will be donated to help support people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. All funds stay local, helping to provide free support groups and education for caregivers and persons living with dementia.
For more information, call the office at 807-468-1516 or email info@alzheimerkrr.com. You can also drop by their office or ask questions at A&W on Jan. 30.
Now it’s your turn — show up at the local A&W, buy a cup of coffee, and make a real difference right here in your community!
I interviewed Hyacinth Caranguian, office and event coordinator, and Albiya Cherian, client services coordinator, to talk all about it!
