Gander appointed City of Kenora CAO

The City of Kenora has decided to hire from within to fill a key vacancy.

Stace Gander is taking over permanently the job as the city Chief Administrative Officer.

Gander had held the position of co-acting CAO with Heather Pihulak for the past nine months.

Prior to his promotion, Gander had been the city’s Director of Economic Development and Tourism.

For Pihulak, she now becomes the city’s Deputy CAO and city clerk.

Gander replaces Kyle Attanasio as CAO.

Attanasio was suddenly led go by the city back in May of 2025.
