Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Kenora detachment say officers were called to the Portage Bay area around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, along with Kenora Fire and Rescue.
A 28-year-old man was found deceased at the scene.
Investigators say the death is not believed to be suspicious, and there is no threat to public safety.
