Lake of the Woods Concert Group presents acclaimed and award winning pianist Michael Kaeshammer on Friday, March 6th 7pm at Knox United Church in Kenora.
Michael is a German-born, Canadian pianist, vocalist, and composer. His musical style has been described as jazz blended with “boogie-woogie”, but Michael describes his sound as something that is uniquely his and something that can’t be placed into a specific genre.
Michael is a 7 time Juno Award nominee and a multi-time West Coast Music Award winner. He has even won the WCMA “Entertainer of the Year” on several occasions.
Michael was generous enough to chat with us over the phone ahead of his upcoming performance in Kenora.
