Lots of rain is expected over the next day or so in the Ignace and Thunder Bay Districts.
As a result, a flood watch has been issued.
That includes the communities of Upsala, Raith, Kashabowie, Shebandowan, and Armstrong.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says because the ground is not thawed, water will run overland, and there is a chance of flooding in low lying areas.
The flood watch will remain in effect until Saturday morning.
