Kenora OPP seize fentanyl in drug bust

Four people have been arrested following a drug bust in Kenora.

Earlier this month, the OPP began investigating a residence where they believed there were drug-related activities.

On Wednesday morning around 1:30 am, several police units executed a search warrant.

The OPP say they seized a quantity of fentanyl, about $8,000 in Canadian currency, a digital scale and cell phones.

Two of the people arrested are from Kenora, one from Wabaseemoong and 28-year-old man from Brampton.

They have all been charged with drug trafficking, two have been charged additionally with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and the Brampton man has also been charged with failure to comply with a release order.

They will appear in court at a later date.
