Gushue and Sveinson back with Ice Dogs

Jake Gushue will be back with the Dryden GM Ice Dogs next season.

He’s currently the head coach and general manager.

His appointment was confirmed at the team’s annual general meeting Monday night.

Mike Sveinson will also remain on as the president of the hockey club.

Ben Hackl has been added to the board as the vice-president of Hockey Operations.

He’s also stepping down as the Ice Dogs assistant coach and assistant general manager.

The hockey club is actively recruiting now for a new assistant coach.

Joining Sveinson on the executive are:

Vice-president of Communications: Natasha Kropelin

Vice-president of External Revenue Generation: Robyn Paquette

Vice-president of Operations: Tim Gadd

Vice-president of Player Personnel: Colleen Oliphant

Member at Large: To be filled in a by-election to be held in June.
