All Nations Health Partners celebrate Rural Generalist Model

The All Nation Health Partners are celebrating a bit of a milestone.

It was just over a year ago, that the Rural Generalist Model of Health care was implemented.

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford confirmed at an event yesterday the province is committing $29 million over three years to the proposal.

The health care model is designed to ensure that people in the Kenora area and 10 First Nation communities surrounding the city have reliable access to care.
