Fort Frances woman charged with impaired driving after Highway 71 crash

A 20-year-old Fort Frances woman is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle collision on Highway 71.

Rainy River District OPP say officers were called to the crash early Monday morning. Upon investigation, police determined the driver was impaired, with a blood-alcohol concentration well over the legal limit.

The woman was charged and later released from custody. She is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court at a later date.
