Increasing water levels on Lac Seul and Lake of the Woods

The Lake of the Woods Control Board is authorizing an increase in outflow from both Lac Seul and Lake of the Woods.

That because exceptionally high rainfall at the end of last month has increased flows into those lakes.

Outflow is being increased today on Lac Seul and Lake of the Woods through the Norman Dam into the Winnipeg River.

Another outflow increase at the Norman Dam will take place on Friday.

Water levels below the dam will increase by 10 centimeters after each outflow increase.
