A strong start to the year in terms of building activity in the City of Kenora.
In the first quarter, $22 million worth of building permits were issued.
That’s based on 39 permits.
That’s over three times higher than the first three months of last year, when over $6 million in building permits were issued.
Some of the projects this year include five commercial projects, three multi-unit dwellings and four institutional alterations.
