Author connecting with his Ukrainian roots comes to the region

Imagine becoming interested in finding out more about your cultural background and the story of where your family comes from, only to have the country at the center of it all thrust into the world and political spotlight because they have been invaded, with war ensuing.

This is exactly what happened to David Chernushenko.

David has written a book not only about his families beginnings in the Ukraine, but also about how the Russian invasion and the ongoing war has affected him personally.

David is currently on a book tour with upcoming stops in Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls and Kenora and he was kind enough to speak with me over the phone to share some further insight. Have a listen…
