Ten wildfires continue to burn out of control across the northwest region, according to fire officials.
Crews reported four new fires by Wednesday evening, although only one of those remains out of control. The blaze is located north of Kichen Road.
Meanwhile, firefighters continue to monitor two of the region’s largest fire groupings, the Rinker Lake Complex and the Atikokan Cluster.
Fire officials say crews remain focused on suppression efforts and monitoring fire activity as conditions evolve.
