Walk a Mile is her Shoes is back again.
It’s an event sponsored by the Kenora Sexual Assault Center.
Jaye Wesley is the executive director says it’s a fun event with a serious message.
“By walking in her shoes we will raise awareness in our community about the serious causes, effects and remediation to men’s sexualized violence against women.”
From 2 until 4 this afternoon, men and women are encouraged to put on a pair of red high heel shoes and walk down to Husky the Musky and back to the Harbourfront.
