Broncos open WHSFL season with shutout win

In the Winnipeg High school football league on Thursday, the Beaver Brae Broncos shut out the Tec Voc Hornets 42-0.

Coach Chris Penner says the team played well and was led by the dominant O and D line play of Noah White, Illias Windego, Keith Boucha, Caiden Robinson, Dexter Freitag and Jayden Roulette.

The Broncos next game is at home against the Daniel Macintyre Maroons one week from today at the Tom Nabb Soccer Complex.

That game is scheduled for a 3:00 start.

Later today it will be the Dryden Eagles visiting the Fort Frances Muskies in Fort Frances. Game time is 3:00.
