Highway 17 is once again open to traffic.
This comes following a Monday evening collision in the Baptist Church Road South area near Vermilion Bay.
This prompted a shut down of the highway down for several hours, resulting in motorists having to a detour around to Highway 594.
No details have been released however on social media the Ontario Provincial Police indicated the collision was serious in nature.
