Sharks take a bite out of Seals Last Chance meet

Four members of the Kenora Sharks Swim team have qualified for the Prairie Winter Invitational swim meet in Winnipeg next month.

Kate McKie (16), Liam Serino (12), Josh Benson (13), and Mary Edlund (13) all competed at the Seals Last Chance Meet in Winnipeg.

Josh Benson led the way with one gold, 3 silver, and a bronze

Liam Serino won gold and a bronze, while Kate McKie took home two silver medals and a bronze, while Sophie Prepp had a bronze.

In all, the Kenora Sharks took 24 swimmers to the meet.

Other Sharks swimmers finishing in the top eight were: Mary Edlund (13) Katie Duchominsky (13) Bronson Rundle (10) Brook Sweeney (13)

Also making big break throughs to Manitoba-Saskatchewan Provincial AA and A times were Sophie Prep (17), Naomi Noack Simone (11), Sophie English (13), Natalia Debbo (17), Josephine Hill (10), Bronson Rundle (12) and Katie Duchominsky (13).
