Drug bust nets two in Dryden

Two people have been arrested following a drug bust in Dryden.

The OPP along with Treaty #3 Police, the K-9 Unit, and the Sioux Lookout OPP executed a search warrant on Wednesday on a home on Rourke Avenue.

Police say they seized a quantity of cocaine, oxycodone, Canadian currency and other items associated with drug trafficking.

A 20 year old from Burnaby, BC and a 33 year woman from Dryden face two charges of trafficking and one charge of possession of proceeds of crime under 5 thousand dollars.

They were held in custody overnight are due to appear in Dryden Court later today.
